Check Your SideStand!

I was leafing through some old Venture Road Magizines this evening when I came across this bit on checking sidestand bolts. I had read this a couple years back but I figured that some of our intrepid group may not know about this little problem.
Check the tightness of the bolts that hold the sidestand to the bike at regular intervals. If these bolts work loose the sidestand could fail with potentially dangerous results. The chap that wrote the bit in the mag had JUST finished refueling when the bike fell over with absolutely no warning. The stand had BROKEN off near the frame due to the abovementioned condition..........Dave Leonty
