Replacing Air Filters

Remove the lowers as described here:

You will need a 10mm ratchet with an extension and a phillips screwdriver. There are two bolts that need to be removed and one clamp loosened before the housing will come off.
 
Loosen the clamp on the back of each housing as shown.
 
Remove the two bolts. One on the top and bottom of each housing.
 
 
Remove the carb vent hose from the clamp at the bottom front of the housing.
 
Now gently pull the housing out from the rear tube.
The next step is to split the housing to get at the filter. Remove the 5 phillips screws to do this.
 
There are now 2 screws holding the filters in.
 
 
The other end of the filter is held under this tab.
 
To reinstall, just reverse the procedure.
