What Seats Are Available?Hi, I have a beauty 1983 Venture Royale, just purchased (w/15,500 original miles!!) Anyway, the bike is perfect except for the seat and backrest. Sun scorched. I want original equipment, but the 83 only came in two tone brown. I want basic black, only available in later models. Does anyone know what year seats are compatible with the 83? Also, if I decide to go for after market, anyone have any luck with Corbin or other seats? .......Thanks, RichAnswerThis in reply to Rich's question on seat availability for his '83. My '84 Venture has a Corbin with back rest ($500.00) it is great, the back rest adjusts forward and aft, also up & down. I just happen to have the black seat that came off the '84 in mint condition. We purchased one at Americade 98 and recommend it highly. Where we had to use our sheepskin for long rides (>200 miles) in the past, the Corbin eliminated that need. No more butt-burn for us!
