These videos from the Discovery Channel provide a brief history of Yamaha. Part one documents the beginning of the company as a piano manufacturer that is now the largest in the world, to it's introduction into building motorcycles and some of their innovative designs which have propelled them to become the second largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. Pause the first video at the end to stop other videos from loading so you can watch part two below. Part two provides an inside look of a Yamaha factory and test track. Both videos concentrate on sport bikes and their continuing development.
