Illumination control knob removal

When removing the front of the dash on 84-93 Ventures, sometimes the Illumination control knob seems stuck. The knob, although splined is also retained by a small phillips screw that sits deep inside the center hole. You may find the screw head is hidden by dirt and or debris that has dropped into the hole over the years.
